History Hike in Lookout Mountain Park
Join a Buffalo Bill Museum staff member on this exploration of Lookout Mountain Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22. Learn about the development of Denver Mountain Parks, see inside the historic Pahaska building, and hear why William “Buffalo Bill” Cody was buried on Lookout Mountain. All attendees will receive an admission pass to the museum.

Coffee with a Curator
On Thursday, September 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. join a member of the museum staff as they share some of the items in the collection. September’s spotlight is on a letter from an Argentinian Gaucho written to his patron in Buenos Aires in 1893 while he was touring with the Wild West. Family Nature Walk-Ute Language: The Living World-Full, Waitlist Available
On Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. join the Buffalo Bill Museum Team for a special program led by a Ute Mountain Ute elder who is a retired National Park Service ranger. You’ll learn the Ute names for plants, animals, and geological features as we explore Lookout Mountain Park.
